PLEASE NOTE: This is an IN PERSON Recovery Coach Academy. You must have transportation and be able to attend all 5 days in person at Southbridge Peer Recovery Center- 219 Everett St, Southbridge, MA, 01550
There is an application process and criteria for acceptance to attend the RCA. Applicants will be accepted based on satisfaction of these criteria and availability of seats. You will then provided a registration link and must provide payment or have an approved need-based scholarship.
Training Summary
The Recovery Coach Academy is a 5-day intensive training course that provides individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs. This training is a fundamental component of providing quality, evidence-based peer recovery support designed for those interested in becoming Recovery Coaches, Peer Workers and those providing or overseeing recovery support services. The Recovery Coach Academy is a requirement for anyone interested in obtaining a CARC (Certified Addictions Recovery Coach).
