New to Recovery Coaching or Peer Work? - CARC Required Trainings
For the best learning experience, we strongly encourage participants start their journey by taking Recovery Coach Academy, followed by Ethical Considerations. There is an application process and criteria for acceptance to attend the RCA. Ethics for Recovery Coaches and Multiple Pathways are required for recertification. Additionally, 18 continuing education hours need to be completed. The Recovery Education Collaborative provides the following trainings to meet those hours: Addictions 101, All Things Recovery, Equity Diversity & Inclusion, Medication Supported Recovery, Mental Wellness, and Motivational Interviewing, Self Care, and Supervision.
